Forged in the midst of "Operation: Iraqi Freedom", these young soldiers came together, trading rifles for guitars, to form Breaking the Innocent. These men have been in the trenches and know a thing or two about the war and its repercussions - and now they are ready to sing about it. And we are lucky they are! Their music definitely lends a traditional rock feel with hard hitting drums and vocals, but with guitar riffs like these, it doesn't leave a stale taste with the listener. And with songs like "You Won't Let Me Fall", in which loneliness and authority are questioned ("jaded logic I obey"), Breaking the Innocent seems to have themes we all can relate to. Now why aren't these kids doing the National Guard theme song?
